This is a small village near the Fort Ratangad. It was monsoon and the fields are green. The rooftops give perfect contrast to the backgound!

I had a photo of this bird earlier, but could not resist myself from adding this one! This bird is simply beautiful! Its colors are vibrant and magnetic!

This picture was taken at Kamalgad. This man is a kind of devotee and staying alone in a temple at Kamalgad fort. In the backgrounds, we can see kenjalgad fort and ground of raireshwar.

GoFlaminGo!

These are Flamingos! They are winter visitors. They come to India from Africa(?) every winter and they come in huge flocks. Thousands of them have arrived in the backwaters of Ujani dam at Bhigvan (भिगवण) on Pune-Solapur highway. The pink color of the Flamingos is of its own kind! (The last bird in the photo is not pink as it is still  a juvenile).

Shimla Office

This is the famous regional Meteorological department building located at ShivajiNagar, Pune. It is popularly known as "Shimla Office". The picture was taken from a "photography prohibited" zone. ;)
